1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KrishiLab website (krishilab.com), the KrishiLab mobile application, our IoT hardware devices, firmware, and related services (together, the "Services"), operated by Doorvagiri ("KrishiLab", "we", "us", "our"), located at Divya Vihar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

By creating an account, purchasing a device, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a farm, business, or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@krishilab.com of any unauthorised use.

4. Devices, firmware & over-the-air updates

KrishiLab devices ship with firmware that we may update over the air (OTA) to fix defects, improve accuracy, or add features. You consent to receiving these updates. We may discontinue support for older hardware or firmware after reasonable notice.

Sensor readings and derived advice are provided on an informational basis. Environmental conditions, installation, calibration, and connectivity affect accuracy. See our separate Advisory Disclaimer.

5. Purchases, pricing & payment

Prices for devices and subscriptions are listed on the Services and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we do not store your full card details.

Refunds, returns, and shipping are governed by our Refund & Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• •Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to extract source code from our firmware or software except to the extent permitted by law;
• •Interfere with, overload, or disrupt our servers, OTA infrastructure, or AI endpoints;
• •Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without our written consent;
• •Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

7. Intellectual property

The KrishiLab name, logo, website, app, firmware, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. You retain ownership of the data you generate (such as soil readings), subject to the licence you grant us in our Privacy Policy to operate and improve the Services.

8. Warranties & disclaimers

Except for any hardware warranty we expressly provide and any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular agricultural outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KrishiLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for crop loss, yield loss, or business loss arising from reliance on sensor readings or advisory outputs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant device or service in the preceding twelve months.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that harms us or other users. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion Policy.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at the place of our registered office shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Services.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
