Account & Data Deletion Policy

1. Your right to delete

You can delete your KrishiLab account and associated personal data at any time. This satisfies the erasure right under the DPDP Act, 2023 and Google Play's data-deletion requirements.

2. How to request deletion

In the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

By email

Send a request from your registered email to support@krishilab.com with the subject "Delete my account". We may verify your identity before proceeding. You do not need the app installed to request deletion.

3. What is deleted

• •Your profile and account credentials;
• •Your soil readings, analyses, and uploaded photos;
• •Farm and preference data linked to your account;
• •Device-to-account links (the physical device is not affected).

4. What may be retained

We may retain limited data where the law requires or permits, such as:

• •Transaction and invoice records needed for tax, accounting, and warranty obligations;
• •Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you (e.g. for improving models);
• •Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.

5. Timeline

Account access is disabled promptly on request. Personal data is deleted from active systems within 30 days and from routine backups within 90 days, except for data retained under Section 4.
